New version improves a product
used at hundreds of sites worldwide
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina - February 21, 2000 - Adventia
announced today the release of the latest version
of its flagship product, Adventia Chat Server 3.0 Premium.
The new release builds upon the success of the previous
version, adding features such as animated icons, standalone windows for
private conversations, user banning, etc. "We think
the new version re-affirms our position as leaders in the ASP market for
chat servers because of its proven reliability, scalability, and
user-friendliness", explained Claudia Soria, an Adventia principal. "We
have been listening to the feedback that over a hundred clients have
provided. Their input has been critical to the development of the new
version", she added.
About Adventia Chat Server 3.0
Adventia Chat Server is an Active
Server Pages (ASP) chat that allows you to easily add HTML-only chat rooms to a web
site, enhancing the site's usefulness and value.
Adventia Chat Server runs on Windows 2000,
Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, or Windows 95. A web server that supports ASP is required (e.g. Microsoft's IIS 3.0, 4.0,
etc.) To use the chat, visitors can use either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape
Navigator. Since the program allows users to have text/HTML conversations without any
plugins, ActiveX controls, nor Java applets, it can be used with older browsers as well,
which makes the program suitable for even the least technologically advanced visitor.
Adventia is a
cutting-edge firm located in Charlotte, NC. Founded by Massachusetts Institute of
Technology alumni, as well as by outstanding professionals from other prestigious
universities, Adventia is committed to pursuing and using technological innovation to
deliver solutions for clients with an exceptional level of excellence and timeliness.
