Adventia Launches Conversa Chat Server
Active Server Application that Provides an Innovative Solution

Conversa Chat Server is an Active Server Pages (ASP) chat that allows you to easily add HTML-only chat rooms to a web site, making it look even more professional.

You can have multiple private conversations, record chat sessions to log files, and even moderate the chat, making this program a perfect tool for online conferences or education courses. The easy customization of the chat interface allows webmasters to blend it with the rest of their web site. Other key features of Conversa Chat Server include automatic refresh of the conversation frame, configurable timeout of inactive users, easy enable/disable of HTML via a global settings file, etc. The source code is included for easy customization. 

Platform and Availability

Conversa Chat Server runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT. A web server that supports ASP is required (e.g. Microsoft's IIS 3.0, 4.0, etc.) To use the chat, visitors can use either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Since the program allows users to have text/HTML conversations without any plugins, ActiveX controls, nor Java applets, it can be used with older browsers as well, which makes the program suitable for even the least technologically advanced visitor. Conversa Chat Server is available immediately.
